Eight startups from Latin America are featured on the Fintech 250 list from CB Insights this year. Six of them are from Brazil: Gorila, Nubank, QuintoAndar, Xerpa, Creditas, and EBANX, which owns LABS. The other two are the Argentine Ualá and the Mexican Konfio.
The annual list recognizes the 250 fastest-growing fintech companies in the world. This year, to get to the 250 names, the market intelligence & consultancy firm evaluated 16,000 companies, based on factors like market potential, team strength, competitive landscape and partnerships.
