Amazon announced the creation of 2,000 jobs in Colombia to expand its service worldwide, reported La República. The company plans to create jobs in the cities of Bogotá, Cali, Medellín, Barranquilla and Bucaramanga.

The initiative aims to strengthen the quality of its services globally. In this regard, Alejandro Filoy, director of customer service for Latin America, told La República that the new collaborators will allow Amazon to enhance its capacity to continue helping clients around the world, especially amid the pandemic.
The positions available include customer service, team managers, solution architects, and program and business managers. The company also announced that they are permanent jobs to work from home and with flexible schedules.
