Amazon began offering this Tuesday (10) its Amazon Prime service, a combo of services with access to music, books, games, series, streaming movies and e-commerce. It costs BRL 9.90 monthly and BRL 89.90 a year. Subscription also guarantees free shipping on orders placed online and access to exclusive promotions.
The services offered in the package include Prime Video, a platform that competes with Netflix, and Prime Music, a similar service to that of Spotify, but with a smaller catalog of songs. There is also Prime Reading, which gives access to reading ebooks, travel guides, and magazines, plus Twitch Prime, which gives you access to a monthly selection of permanent downloadable games.
One of the important highlights is the inclusion of benefits related to shopping. Subscribers get free unlimited shipping anywhere in the country with no minimum purchase value and faster delivery than in traditional orders. Over 20 product categories that are delivered by Amazon, including electronics, books, apparel, appliances, and others will be included in the new benefit.

Those who were already subscribers of the Prime Video streaming service, will become part of Amazon Prime, paying the new monthly price of BRL 9.90, a cheaper price than before. For those interested in becoming new users of Amazon Prime’s service, there is a period of 30 days of tasting.
