- Eduardo Vieira has a 23-year career as a journalist, digital entrepreneur, and executive;
- He will also work with SoftBank Latin America Fund’s portfolio companies.
This is the third change in SoftBank‘s leadership in the region. In July, Nicola Calicchio, former co-chair of McKinsey’s Global Client Council, was appointed Chief Strategy Officer of SoftBank Group International (“SBGI”); and in March, Alex Szapiro, former general manager of Amazon Brazil, was appointed operating partner and Head of Brazil for SoftBank‘s Latin America fund.
Vieira, who has a 23-year career as a reporter, digital entrepreneur, and executive, will be responsible for all external and internal communications functions for the company in the region, leading marketing, public relations, content, and events. He will also work with the more than 50 companies in the SoftBank Latin America Fund portfolio.
