According to Mosaico, the acquisition, which involved the purchase of assets for BRL 7.5 million – which may vary according to business performance – “increases interaction with users outside of Mosaico’s smartphone apps and platforms, expanding the company’s presence throughout the digital consumer’s purchase journey.”
Mosaico also announced a cashback platform that will be implemented gradually for the 23 million consumers who have an account on the platform, starting with Zoom’s users. The benefit is already available at about 400 partner stores.
The cashback app has BTG Pactual bank as a financial partner, responsible for operating the service’s digital wallet. The agreement also provides for the offering of new financial services by Mosaico, to be launched in the second half of the year.
