Credit information company Boa Vista announced on Thursday the acquisition of anti-fraud solutions provider Konduto for around BRL 172 million.

Konduto works enhancing the security for operations of virtual stores, fintechs and payment methods and has a presence in Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Chile and Colombia. In 2020, Konduto provided services to over 27 thousand stores and performed analysis for more than 244 million requests.

In a material fact, Boa Vista stated that the acquisition is part of its strategy to expand the offer of solutions to its customers, who “benefit from our increasing focus to comply with the changes of an increasingly digital world.”

Around 4 pm, Boa Vista’s shares were up 4%, to BRL 9.94.
