Connecting candidates to companies with job openings in areas from programming to management, Brazilian HRtech Revelo launched a new service to allow the whole recruiting process to be online and remote, called Revelo Remoto. The information is from Estadão newspaper.
Launched last week, Revelo’s new service was born thanks to a staggering data observed by the startup: 80% of all hirings in Revelo’s platform during February and March happened from a distance – an episode largely pushed by the corona crisis, as the pandemic has been hitting many face-to-face activities.
From the first job interview to the contract signing, the solution – whose process is entirely conducted within the new platform – is expected to keep growing even after the coronavirus pandemic, as one of the major goals of Revelo is to bring the digital transformation for recruiting processes. “Much is said about the future of work. When this crisis passes, I believe that many companies will continue to encourage remote work. I think our tool is very useful to continue to exist in this scenario,” cofounder Lucas Mendes told Estadão.
Revelo has currently about 14,000 registered companies, including giants such as Ambev, Itaú Unibanco, XP Inc., B2W and Accenture, in addition to micro, small and medium businesses. With a focus on Brazil for now, the startup is studying an expansion to other countries in Latin America, including Mexico, where the firm already has some clients.
