Brazilian HRTech Revelo expands operation to international markets; Chile is on the list

The startup is now connecting Brazilian candidates to foreign companies for remote work opportunities

Revelo, a Brazilian startup focused on recruitment and selection, announced on Tuesday that is expanding its operations to new markets. As the company informed LABS, Silicon Valley and New York, in the U.S., Amsterdam in the Netherlands, and Chile are now part of Revelo’s business footprint.

“Revelo was born with the dream of operating in international markets, so the goal is to work in other countries – mainly the United States. All this is part of a proposal to enhance our synergy with international companies and expand the alternatives for our candidates. After all, Revelo has in its base more than 1.5 million professionals. It is a possible path, as far as we have technology as our ally”, says Lachlan de Crespigny, Revelo co-founder.

Revelo, which claims to be the largest HRtech in Latin America, connects candidates and vacancies on its recruitment and selection platform and has currently more than 14,000 clients in its portfolio including companies in the likes of Mercado Livre, XP Inc and B2W Digital. The startup gathered as much as BRL 90 million (US$ 16.8 million) in investment rounds during 2019, a milestone that made Revelo the most invested company of its sector in Brazil.

The proposal is to fourfold increase the opportunities still in 2020.

With the new venture, the startup aims at connecting Brazilians to foreign teams and companies. Revelo has already led new hirings in the modality and intends to reach 100 hired professionals by the end of 2020. Careers with open opportunities range from coding to design, product, marketing, sales and finance. Monthly salary for these open positions is on average BRL 22 thousand (US$ 4.1 thousand)

“The proposal is to fourfold increase the opportunities still in 2020. Revelo is an assertive alternative for hiring in Brazil, since we take care of all stages of the selection process, including the facilitation of contracts and admission terms, in addition to benefit payments (including health plan), space in coworking and equipment supply,” adds Crespigny.

During about twenty days on average from recruiting to hiring, the international selection process is fully remote and designed for Brazilians living in Brazil or abroad. Open positions are specifically for remote work and working from home models.
