- The company recently announced an extension of its remote work by the end of 2021.
Brazil’s logistics unicorn Loggi announced on Monday it has raised a BRL 1.15 billion ($212 million) Series F round led by CapSur Capital with the participation of Green Fund and several current investors, such as monashees, Softbank Vision, Softbank Latam, GGV, Microsoft, and Sunley House.
The largest round in Loggi’s history will be used to accelerate its Brazil’s expansion, besides further expand its delivery capacity and invest in technology. Last year, the company invested in automation and technology, tripling its delivery capacity in Brazil.
“We built a robust and fast logistics network, which uses technology to deliver with excellence,” says Fabien Mendez, co-founder, and CEO of Loggi. “With our technology, any person or company will be able to send their packages to all of Brazil at low cost,” he said in a press statement.
Loggi is hiring remotely
Founded in 2013, Loggi created a complex logistics network that serves from local deliveries to deliveries throughout the Brazilian territory, with the collection of small and large e-commerce, transfer to destination cities, and deliveries to the final consumer.
Since its foundation, Loggi has doubled in volume year after year, but in 2020 the growth was even greater: +360% vs 2019, the year in which the world began to face the pandemic and online shopping gained strength.
During this period, the company opened dozens of its branches, six new distribution centers and expanded its direct operations to approximately 500 cities, serving nearly 50% of the Brazilian population.
With the new investment, Loggi said it will further improve its service level and keep hiring. “Loggi continues to strengthen its time to lead the new growth phase and is actively seeking employees to help meet the challenges of connecting Brazil,” said the unicorn.
The company recently announced an extension of its remote work by the end of 2021 and the creation of a 100% remote office for part of the technology team. All vacancies are available on the Careers Page.
