Brazilian mall operators partner up with Google to offer new meal delivery service

The partnership with Delivery Center will allow ordering from restaurants located in food courts directly on Google's search tools

Brazilian shopping mall administrators announced a deal with Google to launch a new meal delivery operation.

The partnership will allow ordering from restaurants located in malls’ food courts directly on Google’s search tools.

The integration will be provided through the Delivery Center platform, which has mall management firms Multiplan and brMalls, two of the biggest in Brazil’s industry, as partners.

“The goal is to offer yet another sales channel for our shops so as they can consolidate themselves in the digital environment, providing them with gains in scale, both with greater exposure of the mix of products, and in terms of additional sales (…) connecting them to marketplaces such as iFood, Rappi, Uber Eats, Mercado Libre, Americanas, Submarino and Shoptime“, said brMalls in a statement.
