The Brazilian neobank Banco Inter has reached for the first time the mark of BRL 1 million in cashback to its customers. According to Exame, 400,000 customers made BRL 37 million in transactions through Inter’s marketplace, in May.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, sales growth by 623% on the platform. Banco Inter’s super app, which brings together the fintech marketplace and its other services, has more than 100 partner stores. When the social isolation measures took place in the country, in March, the fintech started to offer double cashback to its customers.
