The Brazilian technology services company Tivit announced it has acquired Privally. The startup is the newest one to join Tivit Ventures, the recently launched investment and acquisition arm of the multinational present in ten countries in Latin America.

Tivit launched this month a strategy to accelerate its business through acquisitions, focusing on areas such as cybersecurity and artificial intelligence at a time when the pandemic continues to force companies to digitize.
Next year, Tivit intends to acquire up to ten startups with a SaaS focus and trajectories of strong growth and scalability. Privally’s operations will continue to operate independently, with the advice of TIVIT executives, as well as the structure to accelerate the development of even more innovative solutions, reported TI Inside. Privally’s acquisition is another step in strengthening the cybersecurity service offering at TIVIT, a business line that is also part of TIVIT Ventures.

Privally is specialized in security and privacy management with a focus on the newest Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD). The purchase price has not been disclosed. Tivit’s new division hasBRL 400 million by 2025 to acquire SaaS companies, according to Valor Econômico.
