Brazil's airline Gol raises BRL 423 million from shareholders

Controlling shareholders participated with a capital infusion of BRL 268 million, while minority shareholders contributed the remainder

Brazil‘s airline Gol raised BRL 423 million to increase its capital, according to a statement sent to the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission on Monday. The airline said its controlling shareholders participated with a infusion of BRL 268 million, while minority shareholders contributed the remainder.

Last week, Gol closed a deal to acquire MAP Transportes Aéreos for BRL 28 million in cash and stock.
