Colombian a2censo platform raised COP 3.5 billion for SMBs

Two new Colombian companies were able to raise resources to finance their projects: Ambiente Soluciones, and TiendApp

The Colombian crowdfunding platform a2censo, an alternative means of fundraising by public collaboration that connects project developers to people interested in investing or donating resources for these projects, raised funds for small and medium sized business this year: overall, 3.5 billion Colombian pesos (COP) (around $1 million) were raised by the online venture capital platform.

Through a2censo, 21 SMEs have been financed through their 1,257 investors, who have made more than 2,636 investments.

According to La República, two new companies were able to raise resources to finance their projects: Ambiente Soluciones, which raised COP 100 million from 90 investors and TiendApp, that raised COP 200 million from 187 investors.
