“Colombia is a very strategic market for its geographical position and because it’s where one of our main competitor’s headquarters are based,” revealed Felipe Ossa, Domicilios.com‘s general manager, in an interview for Contxto, and it tells a lot about how committed other delivery companies are to stealing Rappi‘s crown in Colombia.

Owned by the world’s largest delivery group, Domicilios.com is already present in nine Latin American countries and now is aiming to become Colombia’s leader in this segment, according to Contxto.

But the company isn’t the only one in the battle against Rappi, Cornershop is also targeting Colombia. According to El Mercurio, the company is opening positions to hire professionals focused on lead the operation in the country. 

Rappi will not give up this fight and all this competitiveness can boost a new wave of innovation. By the end of the day, it is a win-win game to Colombian market that will count on more options, services improved, and best price balance.
