Cornershop to launch new job positions in Latin America

Oskar Hjertonsson, founder and CEO of Cornershop, has published this Tuesday, 12, in his Twitter account, the announcement of new positions in the company. Mexican Cornershop is an on-demand grocery delivery service that allows customers to buy from different supermarkets and specialty stores and receive within one hour. In October 2019, the startup was acquired by Uber.

“We need help to grow without losing the path. Last year we opened Canada and Peru, and we just launched Bogota and Sao Paulo … we need more colleagues in almost all areas. Join a work environment full of brilliant and cool co-workers,” said the post in his social media account.

According to Chilean newspaper Diario Financiero, besides the new job positions, Cornershop is also launching new features in its app. Among the new functionalities of the platform is the development of a chat that improves communication among customers and partner shoppers that pick the groceries. Cornershop operates in Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, and Canada.
