The largest neobank in the world, Nubank announced that it has reorganized its structure in Brazil.

Colombian co-founder David Vélez remains the global CEO of the fintech, and Cristina Junqueira, the Brazilian co-founder of Nubank, becomes the CEO of the operation in Brazil. Before, she was Nubank’s Vice President.

According to Nubank, the changing roles is a natural step to organize governance and support the group’s international expansion, which besides to Brazil, already operates in Mexico and Colombia.
