Renowned director and actor Miguel Falabella (who left the Brazilian television network Globo this year) is producing a miniseries in four chapters for Disney+, which, as anticipated by LABS, is starting to invest in originals in the country.

According to a UOL‘s column, the project is set to adapt the play O Som e a Sílaba for a tv show, which is a musical that tells the story of an autistic young woman with a natural ability for music and her teacher.

Brazilian actresses Alessandra Maestrini and Mirna Rubim, who lived the two on stage, will repeat the roles in the show, which still has no date to debut. Brazilians directors Fábio Porchat and Gabriela Saraivah are also preparing projects for Disney’s streaming service, says UOL.
