Disney‘s streaming service Hulu, which the entertainment giant expects to bring to Latin America in 2021, now also offers access to ESPN Plus directly through the Hulu app. Besides, Hulu subscribers will be able to purchase pay-per-view packs for sports programming, such as exclusive UFC content.

According to Variety, the ESPN Plus offering via Hulu is part of Disney’s strategy to increase revenue through the cross-offering of its streaming products. For now, both Hulu and ESPN Plus are only available in the United States.

The news was disclosed by Disney chief Bob Chapek in an investor call last Tuesday, in which he also announced that Disney Plus has reached the mark of 100 million customers.

Hulu had 40 million subscribers in January, an increase of 30% compared to last year; while ESPN Plus had an expressive increase of 83%, rising to 12.1 million subscribers. Adding subscribers to all its platforms, Disney’s streaming service has more than 145 million customers.
