- Ecuador is the next target of Rappi’s expansion plan
- The delivery company already has more than 1,300 partners in the cities of Guayaquil and Quito
Despite having landed two months ago in Ecuador, Rappi had now announced that the country is officially the next one where the delivery service will be available, according to Contxto. “Ecuador joins the eight countries in Latin America where users live with more time to do what they want and not what they have to do,” stated Alejandro Freund, Country Manager of Rappi Ecuador, about the decision in an official brand presentation.
According to Contxto, Rappi already has more than 1,300 delivery partners in the country, all of them are located between two important cities: Guayaquil and Quito, the nation’s capital.
The new operation is part of Rappi’s Latin America expansion plan, but the Colombian company won’t be the first delivery service to bet on the country, the Spanish company Glovo, Uber and local companies are already exploring this Latin American market.
