According to Forbes Mexico, in this seventh edition of the Hot Sale that will take place from next Saturday, May 23th, to June 1st, 76% of digital consumers will buy products from small businesses to support the economy in the face of the COVID-19 crisis. That’s the opinion of the campaign organizers.
Daniela Orozco, Research Manager of the Mexican Association of Online Sales (AMVO), told Forbes Mexico that this is a direct result of the support that has been given in recent months through the Aiuda.org platform to the small businesses in the country.

According to the AMVO survey, 67% of the Mexican consumers plan to spend the same as in past editions, which makes the budget for the Hot Sale stable. That means that 4 out of 10 buyers plan to spend between MXN 1,000 and MXN 5,000.
In the 2019 edition, this campaign registered MXN 11,082 million in sales and was responsible for the debut of 2 million new e-commerce buyers.

To Forbes Mexico, Eric Pérez–Grovas, president of the Mexican Association of Online Sales, agreed that this edition will be a platform for strengthening electronic commerce in Mexico, adding to small and medium-sized companies to increase the digital ecosystem.
