B2W, owner of the e-commerce websites Americanas.com and Submarino, and Lojas Americanas announced on Tuesday (24) that its digital payment platform, called Ame, has partnered with Mastercard to offer prepaid cards to users and platform vendors.

According to Forbes Brazil, the new card will be accepted by 7.8 million merchants in the country and will also allow for withdrawals at ATMs.
“The card will act as a mirror of the Ame Account, which can be reloaded by depositing directly into Lojas Americanas tellers, bank transfer, transfer between users, credit card, and also by payment of payment slips,” Ame said in a press release.
