Cosmic Go, a Colombian mobility company, will reach the streets of Medellín and Bogotá in August with a new micromobility solution. According to La Republica newspaper, the startup will, at first, offer a scooter rental service from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m through its website, and soon, it will make it available through an app, 24/7.

Jairo Ochoa, partner of the company, explained that “we seek that the two types of public that we have can register their car, bicycle or motorcycle to invest, or rent the means of transport they choose, directly from our platform.” Cosmic Go also allows users or partners to buy e-bikes or e-scooters as an investment or rent their fleet of vehicles on the network to generate income.

The platform also offers the rental of bikes, motorcycles, and cars for a week to six months, something that according to CEO Jonathan Calmus makes sense since “sometimes we buy a bicycle and we only use 20%. We are the option for our users to take advantage of it 100% through the rental.”
