- Matt Swann, who had stints at companies such as Amazon and Booking, will replace Edward Wible as CTO of Nubank;
- In addition to Swann, the digital bank hired names like Renee Mauldin, exec who has worked with Google, Uber and Twitter, as CPO;
- In January of last year, Jag Duggal, former Facebook, took over as Chief Product Officer and Youssef Lahrech, former Capital One, now holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at Nubank.
Nubank announced on Wednesday that Matt Swann, a former exec leading software engineering and product teams at companies like Amazon and Booking, will take over as the new Chief Technology Officer of the digital bank.
Swann will replace the co-founder Edward Wible, who will now take over as director of tech platforms at Nubank.

“Being able to scale our operations sustainably is an important competitive advantage. And that’s what we thought about when Ed and I decided to hire someone who has already experienced hyper-growth in global companies,” says Nubank‘s CEO and co-founder David Vélez.
Nubank has over 35 million customers. According to the neobank, 36 thousand people per day, on average, became customers in 2020. Nubank has also acquired the brokerage firm Easynvest, setting foot in the investment market.
