Brazilian fintech Banco Inter has announced this Thursday, 13, its financial results in a conference with analysts and investors. The neobank, which has launched its super app to the Brazilian market in November, has reached BRL 1 billion in revenues in 2019, an increase of 39.8% when compared to 2018. Inter’s super app brought BRL 34 million in transactions for services and non-financial products, since its launch in November until the end of the year. As for 2019 Q4, the neobank has seen its revenues rose by 51.8% compared to the same period of the previous year. In figures, the growth represented more BRL 322.9 million for the fintech.
Called Plataforma Aberta Inter (Inter Open Platform), the fintech’s investment marketplace has impressively increased by 269% the number of active clients during Q4, reaching 425 thousand accounts, and representing more than 10% of the customer base.
