A survey by Magis5, a startup for automation and integration for marketplaces, showed that revenue this Black Friday grew 30% over the previous year in Brazil. About sales volume, Shopee led with 67.24%, followed by Mercado Libre (12.33%), and Americanas (5.27%).
The marketplaces that invoiced the most were Mercado Livre (29.35%), Amazon (27.59%), and Shopee (20%).

Banco Inter announced on Monday (29) that it recorded sales of R$ 208 million on its marketplace platform during Black Friday, almost double the amount recorded a year earlier.
The company said in a statement to the market that the accumulated sales this year on the platform “Inter Shop” exceeded the mark of 3 billion, three times higher than in the same period last year.

“The results of Black Friday were excellent. In addition to the very expressive sales volume and accesses, the take-rate and our gross margin are increasingly competitive,” said Inter without giving further details.
