B2W, Brazilian retail company behind popular retailers such as Americanas.com, Submarino and Shoptime has launched this week a special e-commerce platform in partnership with retail chain focused on sportswear Centauro; aiming at exclusive products that normally are only found in specialized stores.

According to information from the Brazilian newspaper Estadão, B2W didn’t disclose financial details about the operation, but the idea is to allow consumers to order products on the new platform and pick up directly on Centauro’s physical stores. For addresses close to the physical shops, the new venture will also provide express delivery for the purchases.

The new venture is part of the strategy of growing product portfolio, allowing the customer to get several different articles in one place, called a one-stop-shop. Earlier this year, Centauro tried to buy its competitor Netshoes, which was later acquired by Magazine Luiza
