Zoom is planing to open an office in Brazil. The company’s international marketing and partnership leader, Derek Pando, in an interview for Mobile Time said that, at first, Zoom aims to hire people to take care of the support to Brazilian customers.

Mobile Time reports that Zoom has been registering a dizzying growth since the beginning of the pandemic because of social distancing measures. In December 2019, the maximum number of Zoom video conference participants in a single day had been 10 million people. Five months later, in April 2020, the maximum number in one day was 300 million, that is, a growth of thirty times.
