On Black Friday, Brazilian companies promise deliveries within 24 hours

In addition to price and product quality, delivery time is one of the main decision factors for Brazilian consumers who buy online

Magazine Luiza and Mercado Livre are two of the major Brazilian retailers that are promising Black Friday express deliveries within 24 hours of purchase in some cases. According to the newspaper O Estado de S.Paulo, there should be a reduction in delivery times at this year’s event.

“Big retailers are using their physical stores as distribution centers for deliveries,” Vinicius Pessin, co-founder of Eu Entrego, a collaborative delivery startup, told the newspaper.

This is mainly due to the growing investment that the country’s major chains have made in digitization and multichannel, turning stores into distribution centers and collection points.
