IMF mission to travel to Argentina for formal negotiations on new program, says spokesperson

An International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission will visit Argentina as of November 10 to begin formal negotiations on a new financing program, a spokesperson for the organization said on Friday.

The dialogue between the IMF mission and Argentina will focus on the government’s fiscal agenda in the medium term and sustainable growth. There is no set date for the conclusion of negotiations, the spokesperson added.
