Spending on restaurants represents 26.45% of user payments, on average, and spending on supermarkets, 25.08%. The third most recurring expense is health, with 7.24% of transactions.
The survey refers only to Brazil, where Nubank surpassed more than 15 million customers in October, but the fintech is already expanding to other Latin American countries.
In August, the Brazilian fintech launched its first product in Mexico: precisely the international credit card. Prior to that, in June, Nubank had already opened offices in Argentina as well.
