Global audio streaming giant Spotify released on Tuesday its popular annual list Wrapped, with 2020 most-streamed artists, songs, and podcasts.

Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny starred at the top spot as the most-streamed artist with more than 8.3 billion streams this year. Following Bad Bunny is Drake and Latin star J Balvin.

With over 3.3 billion streams, Bad bunny’s album YHLQMDLG (an abbreviation of “Yo hago lo que me da la gana”, Spanish for “I do whatever I want”), released in late February, has also hit number one streamed album at Spotify’s Wrapped 2020.

The Puerto Rican rapper that only performs in Spanish is the first artist who never sings in English to tops Spotify’s year-end list – and has been one of the artists – as well as J Balvin – responsible for paving Latin music’s way towards the global charts. The latter has placed among Spotify’s top five most-streamed artists since 2018.
