The life of the Argentine football player Diego Armando Maradona will be captured in an Amazon‘s Prime Video series called Maradona, sueño bendito (or “Maradona, blessed dream”), reported Forbes Mexico.
The biographical production, which the former Argentine footballer approved, will show the footballer’s successful career, but it will also address his controversial personal life’s ups and downs.

Last Wednesday, the idol’s death brought back the conversation about this production that, due to the coronavirus pandemic, had its premiere until then predicted for this year in Maradona’s birthday’s festivities, delayed for the next year. The streaming platform did not confirm a new premiere date yet.

Diego Armando Maradona died on November 25, at the age of 60, in a condominium in the city of Tigre, in Greater Buenos Aires. Since the beginning of November, he was there recovering from surgery to remove a clot in the brain.
