Sony postpones PS5 event as a protest against racism

The gesture follows other companies such as XBOX, Microsoft, EA, Netflix and Google, that have pronounced against racism

Sony decided to postpone the PlayStation 5 event schedule for this Thursday because of the ongoing protests against racism as a response to George Floyd killing.

“We don’t feel that right now is a time for celebration and for now we want to stand back and allow more important voices to be heard”, it said in a Twitter post.

The gesture follows other companies such as Microsoft, EA, Netflix and Google, that have took a stance against racism.
