On Tuesday the Brazilian neobank Nubank launched a feature that allows the user to share payments for products and services with friends and relatives, on a debit or credit card.

How does it work? The user enters the number of friends with whom he wants to share the amount, the total amount of the expense, and the division is done automatically in the app. It is also possible to define specific values for each user.

In the end, the contacts receive a reminder to make the payment with the right amount and the transfer data of the user responsible for the payment. If the person is a customer, it’s even easier: the reminder goes as a notification in the app and they just need to confirm the amount to make the payment.
