Ambev announced a deal with NBA (National Basketball Associaton) to broadcast the league’s basketball games on Budweiser’s digital channels in Brazil, the company informed.
Under the agreement, Budweiser will be able to broadcast NBA games live and free of charge on all of its digital platforms, from the website to social media channels. The games will be broadcast every Thursday and Sunday.
The official launch will take place this Thursday, the 25th, with a double round live on the official NBA Brazil and Budweiser channels on YouTube broadcasting the Dallas Mavericks vs. Philadelphia and New Orleans Pelicans vs. Milwaukee Bucks.

“Fans of the sport and everyone will be able to follow not only the games, but new and exclusive content that we intend to create together with the NBA,” said Alice Alcantara, head of Budweiser Brazil.
In addition to offering live games, Budweiser’s exclusive NBA content will feature unusual formats, visual identity, special language and graphics, participation by creators, guests and local programming, creating interaction and a direct connection with the league’s fans in the country, over 44 million people, according to a survey by Ibope/Repucom, mentioned by Ambev.

According to the company, the acquisition of broadcasting rights and the presentation of content, is unprecedented within the sports universe and exclusive to Budweiser Brazil.
“This new agreement will offer audiences across the country more games, more content and a very special program, designed for fans passionate about our game,” stated Rodrigo Vicentini, Head NBA Brazil. “We will work together on other initiatives, exploring opportunities and possibilities related to media, increasingly improving the fan experience.”
