- Disney+ will arrive in Latin America in November.
Disney‘s streaming service, Disney +, may arrive in Brazil costing BRL 29 ($5,41) per month, according to Guia Disney Plus Brasil. However, the company has not yet officially announced the Brazilian subscription price. The website collected reports from users in the United States who tried to create an account with data from Brazil and they came across with this amount.

On the Android app, the price in Brazilian reais for these users appeared as BRL 28.99 per month or BRL 289.99 in the annual plan, giving a two-month discount. It is not just about converting the price from dollars, since in the United States it costs $6.99, which would be converted to approximately BRL 36.
The amount, if confirmed, is below what is charged in the US. In Brazil, the streaming platform will compete with Netflix, which costs BRL 21.90 a month in a basic plan, Amazon Prime (BRL 9.90) and GloboPlay (BRL 22.90)
On its earnings call, earlier this week, Disney+ said it will reach Latin America in November. Disney + already rolled out in the United States, United Kingdom, India, Germany, Italy, Spain, Austria, Switzerland and France and currently has 57.5 million subscribers.
