Three Brazilian TV stations will have exclusive Facebook programs

Rede TV!, SBT and Band attractions will be published in the coming weeks

In a press release, Facebook announced that its on demand video service Facebook Watch will feature exclusive shows from three Brazilian television stations: Rede TV!, SBT and Grupo Bandeirantes. The company has sought to diversify the content of the service with other languages.

According to the Brazilian magazine Exame, the new shows will be published in the coming weeks. Following the short-lived video service standard, programs will take between 5 and 30 minutes.

Band’s show will be the “Tutorial”, focused on themes chosen by the public and featuring Luiz Megale, Carla Brigatto, Helen Braun and Caio Rocha.

SBT’s focus on Facebook Watch will be the female audience, and the show will be “SBT Mulher” (SBT Woman), with inspiring stories about women.

And Rede TV! will present “Histórias do Dia” (Daily Stories), that will bring the news of the day and stories of Brazilian characters.

According to Facebook, its video service is watched by more than 720 million people a month, rivaling with YouTube.
