In a report to the Securities and Exchange Commision – SEC, Netflix revealed that it has 29.4 million subscribers in Latin America. In the report, for the first time, the company detailed the distribution of its 158 million users worldwide.
According to Bloomberg, the total of subscribers in Latin America equals one third of the population with broadband access in the region.

According to consultants heard by the Brazilian newspaper Folha de S.Paulo, Brazil would have about 10 million subscribers to the platform.
