Nintendo to officially launch Nintendo Switch in Brazil

The company announced this Wednesday on its Twitter account that the Switch console is "coming soon"

  • The company saw orders for the Switch console skyrocket in the second-quarter, and the quarantine boosted sales for the blockbuster “Animal crossing: new horizons”.

Nintendo announced this Wednesday on Twitter that its Switch console should arrive soon in Brazil.

Originally launched in March 2017, Nintendo’s hybrid console can currently only be found in the country through unofficial sales channels. As of the official rollout, Switch will then be commercialized with product support and guarantee, potentially cheaper games, and localization for the local language.

Nintendo saw orders for the Switch console skyrocket in the second-quarter, and the quarantine boosted sales for the blockbuster “Animal crossing: new horizons”. Launched in March, the game sold 12 million copies in 11 days and, in the second quarter, another 10.6 million.
