Remote work leads to Microsoft Teams overload

Microsoft says it is currently investigating the problem. It's the second outage of Microsoft Teams in recent months.

Slack‘s rival, Microsoft Teams, went down as people started working from home due to the coronavirus outbreak, says TechCrunch.

As countries are shutting borders and employers are sending workers to work from home, the communication and collaboration platform was not able to support the strain. Microsoft stated that it is investigating the issue.

TechCrunch remembers that it is the second outage of Microsoft Team in as many months after the software giant forgot to renew a HTTPS certificate.  On the other hand, Zoom Video platform is expecting to increase its numbers of users because of the demand.
