Spotify is now allowing users to save unlimited songs, albums and podcasts

The feature will be available to all users soon

  • According to Spotify, there’s a public request to remove this limit since 2014, with over 12,500 votes;
  • Spotify users will be able to download 10,000 songs on 5 different devices for offline listening.

Spotify announced on a press release that it’s removing the limit on saved items in its user’s libraries, thus it has started rolling out an unlimited library experience, affecting liked songs, albums, and podcasts.

According to Spotify, there’s a public request to remove this limit since 2014, with over 12,500 votes. Before, it was only possible to save 10,000 items in the user’s Spotify library. However, according to the platform, it’s still not possible to add as many songs as the user would like to a playlist, as it doesn’t impact the current limit of 10,000 items in a playlist. It also doesn’t impact the offline listening limit.

According to the platform, Spotify users will be able to download 10,000 songs on 5 different devices for offline listening. “If you’re still getting the limit message, don’t worry. You’ll get the new experience soon!”, said the company.
