The short video application TikTok was the most downloaded in the world in January, according to data from the Sensor Tower platform. In 2019, the number of Brazilian users accessing the Chinese app grew 316%, according to data obtained exclusively by the NeoFeed website with comScore. According to the website, in December 2018, the number of unique visitors was 1.7 million. In December 2019, that number jumped to 7.3 million.
Facebook was the second most installed social media app worldwide last month, with 61.9 million downloads and a growth of 1.5% in relation to January 2019. Once again, India and Brazil were also the countries which most downloaded the app: 20.5% and 9.9%, respectively.

Instagram, Likee and Snapchat completed the top five most installed social media apps worldwide during the month.
