Chinese AliExpress opened up the possibility of purchasing in installments for all its customers in Brazil. Now it’s possible to pay for purchases of over $10 (BRL 50) on the Chinese website in up to 6 interest-free installments, or in up to 12 installments with addition.
Only Brazilian credit cards and delivery addresses in Brazil are enabled to accept the installments option.
There are reports on Twitter that the installment on AliExpress has been offered since the end of February in Brazil, but the company only confirmed the information to some press outlets this week. Since last year, Wish and Gearbest also accept installment payments.
