99 will donate 60,000 trips to health professionals in Sao Paulo

99, the second mostly used mobility app in Brazil, right after Uber, will donate 60,000 trips to health professionals in Sao Paulo, according to a statement by the mayor of São Paulo, Bruno Covas, interviewed by GloboNews this Monday.

The measure intents to aid these professionals who are at the forefront in the fight against coronavirus. According to Valor Econômico, 99 currently operates in 1,600 Brazilian cities and has 700,000 active drivers, in addition to 20 million registered users.
