Argentina and Paraguay closed their borders with Brazil, allowing only cargo transportation. However, they are taking more restrictive measures against Brazilian truck drivers who cross the border, reported O Estado de S.Paulo.
Despite free passage of cargo trucks, Brazilian truck drivers are required to stay overnight in vehicles and can only refuel at pre-determined stations.
Argentina and Paraguay have been expressing worries about the coronavirus spread in their neighboring country Brazil, where COVID-19 has made more than 11,000 victims. Both countries have flattened their curves of disease spread in comparison to Brazil.
