Argentina and Paraguay adopt restrictive measures against Brazilian truck drivers who cross the border

Argentina and Paraguay closed their borders with Brazil, allowing only cargo transportation. However, they are taking more restrictive measures against Brazilian truck drivers who cross the border, reported O Estado de S.Paulo.

Despite free passage of cargo trucks, Brazilian truck drivers are required to stay overnight in vehicles and can only refuel at pre-determined stations.

Argentina and Paraguay have been expressing worries about the coronavirus spread in their neighboring country Brazil, where COVID-19 has made more than 11,000 victims. Both countries have flattened their curves of disease spread in comparison to Brazil.
