Brazil and Peru register some of the worst current COVID-19 outbreaks worldwide

Brazil and Peru rank the world’s current most rapid coronavirus growth rates, according to The New York Times. NYT points out that the countries with the worst current outbreaks include several South American ones, while in Mexico the number of new cases seems to be decreasing.

The U.S and Sweden also rank among the countries with the highest growth of COVID-19 infections, according to the newspaper’s chart of new virus cases each week per one million residents.
