Brazilian Ministry of Health signed a contract to purchase a batch of 100 million additional doses of the vaccine produced by the American pharmaceutical company Pfizer. The acquisition will cost BRL 6.6 billion.

With this purchase, Brazil will have 200 million doses of Pfizer. The arrival of the first 100 million doses is scheduled to be completed by September. The additional batch is expected by the end of the year.
