The Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz) is negotiating a new batch of 10 million Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccines with India’s Serum Institute. If the agreement is closed, the batch may arrive in Brazil in February, as CNN Brasil reported first hand.
According to the TV channel, the negotiations are already advanced. The Serum Institute spokesman said that the Institute should be able to provide the quantity that Brazil needs after delivering the doses negotiated with neighboring countries.

The first batch with 2 million doses of the Oxford/Astrazeneca vaccine arrived in Brazil last Friday.
