The government of President Jair Bolsonaro is preparing a big ceremony next Tuesday for the announcement of measures to recover the country’s economy, including the extension of the emergency aid, Senate government leader Fernando Bezerra Coelho told Reuters.

According to Bezerra, it is certain that the emergency aid will be extended until December, but there is still no definition of the format or the value of this benefit. Still, he adds, it is the president’s intention to have the issue resolved by Monday.

What is already certain is also that the amount of this extended benefit will be lower than the current BRL 600.
